Prime Minister Tony Blair has his last Question Time on Wednesday - and Colchester MP has had his name drawn to put one.
Mr Russell has Question 14 on the Order Paper, so the town's Liberal Democrat MP may be unlucky if previous questions and answers eat up the 30 minutes allocated for Prime Minister's Questions.
In his ten years as an MP Mr Russell has been called around 20 times to put a Question to Mr Blair, a much higher figure than most MPs achieve. These have ranged from the War in Iraq to the need to promote Britain's traditional folk culture, and from restoring citizenship to those living in British Dependent Territories to the housing crisis for affordable rented homes.
