St. John's litter pick success

The litter pick organised by St Johns church was a big success on Saturday despite the poor weather.

Over 30 residents attended including representatives from the Street Warden service , Community Police support officers and the local resident's association.

Cllr Paul Smith commented " I would like to pass on my thanks to all those who took part in this event. I know from comments made to me on the day the residents really appreciate this example of community spirit that makes St Johns such a special community."
