Roads and pavements success!

Following pressure from Cllrs Ray Gamble and Paul Smith Essex County Council has confirmed there are a number of pavements that are to be considered for resurfacing - Blackwater Avenue, Dunthorne Road, Roach Vale, Orwell Close, The Glade and Deben Road

There are a number of roads also on the resurfacing proposals list - St Bernard, St Dominic, St Clement, St Austell, St Mark, St Lawrence, St Neots, St Monance, St Bride, and part of Harwich Road. As Deputy Chair of the Local Highways Committee, Cllr Ray Gamble has asked for Campbell Drive and Dunthorne Road and offshoot roads to also be assessed. How soon County Council funding will be available to assist our roads and pavements is unclear at present!
