Outstanding Award for Colchester MP

Colchester MP Sir Bob Russell has been honoured with a plaque for being an "Outstanding Achievement Champion" in recognition of his 15 years as Secretary of the All-Party Parliamentary Scout Group from which he recently stepped down.

Sir Bob Russell MP and his 'Outstanding Achievement' award, given in honour of his decades of work helping the Scouting movement.

The award, presented by The Speaker of the House of Commons, the Rt Hon John Bercow MP, was made by "The House" magazine in its annual Charity Champion honours.

In the photograph he is wearing the tie of the All-Party Parliamentary Scout Group.

Sir Bob was a founder member of the 1st Myland (35th Colchester) Scouts with whom he gained both the Queen's Scout and Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards.
