County Councillor Lyn Barton
Lyn Barton was elected as the County Councillor for Maypole division (which contains the wards of Shrub End and Berechurch) in June 2009, winning the seat from the Labour Party. As a teacher and youth worker for many years before becoming involved in local politics, Lyn has a particular interest in the County's education and youth service departments. Lyn believes in communities empowering themselves, and is currently looking for local champions in Berechurch to help improve the area.
