Your local Liberal Democrat campaigners

With 26 seats, the Liberal Democrats are the largest group in the coalition running Colchester Borough Council. Labour have just 7 seats and the Highwoods Independents 3, with the opposition Conservatives having 24 seats. The coalition took control of the Council following a disastrous set of elections for the Conservative Party in May 2008 following months of inaction over the proposed Visual Arts Facility. The Liberal Democrats won 3 additional Council seats off the Conservatives in the 2010 elections - making us the biggest Party in the Borough Council. On this page you can find details of your local Lib Dem Councillors and campaigners, and what they have been campaigning on. Please click on the links below of the area you live in.
