Bob Russell MP addressing Parliamentary Scout Meeting

The Centenary Year of Scouting was launched at the House of Commons with a reception co-hosted by Colchester MP Bob Russell who is Secretary of the All-Party Parliamentary Scout Group.

Mr Russell is pictured addressing the gathering wearing a Centenary Scout scarf and Parliamentary Scout Group tie, along with lapel badges marking 100 years of Scouting.

In his youth Mr Russell was a founder member of the 1st Myland (35th Colchester) Scout Group with whom he gained the Queen's Scout and Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards.
